Wireframes

An important initial step in the process of web development is to create a blueprint for your website, this is referred to as wireframing. Visually it's not detailed, but they contain the basic sketches which will highlight where the content, buttons and links will be placed. The key aspect here is that a bare structure is created, this will serve as an efficient tool that will guide the design process. Since the design process always has the ability to jump in any direction if it's not guided by a blueprint.

Moodboard

Once the structure of the website has been settled, the initial design process can start where the visual style, fonts and colors will be chosen. This is also where the client's preferences can come into play when it comes to a specific color scheme or the aesthetic of the website.
